 Professional Shooting

Regarded as the most humane way to cull vertebrate pests, precision shooting is the Feral Whisperer's preferred method of pest control. The Feral Whisperer is a highly skilled and professionally trained marksman who ensures that each and every shot finds it's intended target and poses no risk to the public.

Nocturnal Culling

Conducting shooting operations at night from a vehicle mounted roof-top shooting platform is not only the safest method for shooting feral pests but also ensures the best results due to increased pest activity and minimal public presence.

The Feral Whisperer utilises vehicle mounted spotlights with a variety of coloured filters to suit the conditions of each shoot. Modern night-vision equipment is also used in light-sensitive situations if required.

Shooting from the roof of a vehicle provides an elevated position from which to take a shot, this ensures that an adequate backstop is always provided when shooting at feral pests on the ground and minimises the risk of bullet ricochet.

The Feral Whisperer holds a permit from the NSW Police Commissioner to use suppressors, these devices minimise the muzzle report from a discharging firearm.

Within Structures

Feral birds such as the Rock Pigeon, Indian Mynah and Starling are often found roosting inside of structures where the use of conventional firearms is impossible.

The Feral Whisperer uses a state-of-the-art, power adjustable .25 caliber Air Rifle to cull feral birds in these areas. The adjustable power settings allow shots to be dialed in and taken indoors safely without risking damage to the building.

Due to the adaptability of the equipment used, shooting can take place safely within virtually any structure, regardless of it's size or layout.

.25 Caliber hollow point pellets are used to ensure all birds are culled instantaneously and humanely. This larger pellet size also results in a larger surface area, greatly reducing the chances of overpenetration and structural damage.

Euthanasia & Tranquilisation

Whether it be sick livestock, an injured roadside victim or a mortally wounded native, the Feral Whisperer is on hand to tend to sensitive situations that require a quick and effective solution to prevent the prolonged suffering of animals.

Unfortunately in NSW, animal strikes on the roadways and rail corridors are a fact of life but often times animals hit by vehicles are simply left wounded on the roadside to suffer. The Feral Whisperer finds that unacceptable!

Working closely with the NSW Police and local government, the Feral Whisperer is on call 24/7 to quickly assess and deal with any situation involving a wounded animal.

The Feral Whisperer holds a permit from the NSW Police Commissioner to utilise tranquiliser darts for the safe transportation of animals to a veterinarian if required.
