Relocation, Den Fumigation & Habit Disruption elocation, Disruption
Sometimes animals make their homes in places that humans would rather they didn't, in these situations there are a number of solutions available depending on the type of pest, and nature of the site. The Feral Whisperer uses professionally trained canines and specialist equipment to efficiently and humanely find and remove features that harbour pest animals.

Habit Disruption
The Feral Whisperer employs specially trained dogs to disrupt the habits of birds and to stop them roosting in certain areas. When the birds are exposed to the canine repeatedly over time, they soon find a new place to rest. This method is particularly effective against seagulls but can also be used against a variety of different pests.
Seagull droppings contain high levels of bacteria such as E-Coli, and many harbour strains that are highly resistant to anti-biotics. When left to freely defecate on beaches and in waterways there is a greatly increased likelyhood of persons or animals visiting these areas to become infected.
The Feral Whisperer can devise a comprehensive plan to permanently remove birds such as seagulls from an area and provide ongoing services to keep them gone.
Den Fumigation
Foxes and rabbits are currently experiencing a population explosion which if left unchecked will result in more pests moving into sub-urban areas where food is plentiful. One very effective method of fox control is to fumigate the dens where foxes or rabbits live using specially designed 'Den-co-Fume' carbon monoxide fumigants.
Fox cubs are born anytime from August to December. Fumigating active natal dens during this time can achieve effective and humane control of fox cubs (and potentially vixens) as part of an integrated control program. Fumigation can take place safely in urban and sub-urban environments and is not absorbed by the soil in which it is used posing no risk to non-target species.
Prolonged exposure to carbon monoxide in a den causes unconsciousness and death. Death occurs without pain or distress while the animal is unconscious. Because of this, fumigating fox or rabbit dens is regarded as one of the most humane methods of control.
Capture and Relocation
The Feral Whisperer is a professional reptile handler and has worked extensively with crocodiles and venomous snakes all across Australia and Africa. He is well equipped with the knowledge and skills to handle the capture and relocation of any number or type of reptile found in New South Wales.
Using a variety of trapping techniques or if necessary, specialised tranquilisation equipment, the Feral Whisperer can arrange for the capture and relocation of other larger animals such as natives or livestock.
The Feral Whisperer can arrange for the collection and transport any manner of animal to the RSPCA or your chosen animal shelter.
