Animal Species We Control

Unfortunately for us, the European settlers that first colonised Australia didn't put a lot of thought into the future impacts or effects that the animals they introduced would have on this great nation. Over time, the invasive pest species shown here have spread far and wide across Australia at the expense of the native flora and fauna. The Feral Whisperer is ready and willing to deal with any pest species found on the Australian mainland.

Declared Pests

The NSW and VIC state governments have declared that Foxes, Rabbits, Wild Dogs and Feral Pigs  are such a threat to the environment that they must be controlled wherever they live. The Local Land Services may impose various 'destruction' and 'notification' obligations on occupiers of controlled land, including public land managers and local government authorities, that require occupiers to 'continually suppress and destroy declared pests'.

The Feral Whisperer can design and implement a complete vertebrate pest control program for you that meets the criteria of these government mandates.

Feral Pests

There is a great number of other invasive pests that have spread across the Australian mainland at great expense to the native animals that live here. These include Cane Toads, Hares, Feral Cats, Feral Deer, Feral Goats, Feral Horses, Rock Pigeons, Indian Mynah and Starlings.

An effort should be made by all land-owners to control these animals if they are present. Without ongoing eradication programs these pests are likely to gain a further foothold in Australia and pose a great risk to not only native wildlife but to the Australian economy also.

Natives

If necessary, The Feral Whisperer is also licensed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service to carry out control programs on Native Wildlife such as Crows, Ravens, Magpies, Butcher Birds, Kangaroos, Possums, Wallabies, Cockatoos, Ibis, Corellas and Ducks.

The control of native species can only be carried out with the consent of the relevant local government agency and a valid permit authorising their destruction.
